Welcome to the 2024 Learn to Skate Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation in the Hayward Sport Center's Learn to Skate Program.

Program Description:

• 45 minutes sessions with coaches to assist with skating skills
• Oppurtunity to try hockey
• Parents are able to assist their kids on the ice

Dates:

• Mondays and Wednesdays
• October 21, 23, 28,30 @ 5:30pm

Ages:

• 3-8 year olds, Boys and Girls

Cost:

• Hayward Sports Center charges $0 - FREE!
• USA Hockey Fee is as follows 
  • 2018 birth year and younger $15
  • 2016-2017 $50​​​​​​​

Equipment:

• No costs for skates and helmet rental
• Refundable deposit required. (Will be refunded once equipment is returned)

2024-2025 Hockey Season for In House Development League (IDL) (sometimes called Mites or 8U):

• 6 year olds to 8 year olds
• Mondays and Wednesdays starting November 4th, 2024 through February 2025 
• Monday and Wednesday practices are 5:30-6:30pm
• Jamborees will be scheduled for different teams at different times, including two home Jamborees,

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2024-2025 Season.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s).
  • USA Hockey registration is 2018 birth years and below $15 and birth years 2016-2017 $50. This fee includes member benefits and insurance. Be sure to PRINT and SAVE the USA Hockey number for each child. Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you receive from USA Hockey.

• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. ** NOTE - you must be signed in to your SportsEngine account (upper right hand corner of page) before you will be able to click the continue button at that bottom of this first page of registration.
  • If you do not have a SportsEngine account, sign up for one in the upper right hand corner of this page AND download the SportsEngine app on your phone. The SportsEngine app will be the only means for communication for the Learn to Skate Season. 

Step 3:  Fill in ALL information for both parents/guardians. This will assist all parties in getting information through out the season.
